OK to renew passport to married name before interview?

I have a pending adjustment of status application and applied using my passport that had my old maiden name. I am now gonna renew my passport and will have new one reflecting my married name when the interview is up. Is it OK to present another passport at the interview than what was used in the application (used my married name in the application)?

Yes, you did everything absolutely correct. Normally, we give the information with maiden name and it's expected to be changed as soon as passable to accommodate married name.

If it's not done in time and before interview, that's ok as well. It's important to have it change before traveling, or you may need to travel with marriage certificate also.

But it not crucial, to be updated before interview, as some country takes over three months or more and the risk of sending it in; when your passport is MOST definitely needs at your interview. Not necessarily a chance of name. Good luck on your journey.
