Hi,
My husband just naturalized on wednesday 06/10/2015, i want to know when i can submit my application, can i submit it immediately or is there a time frame? Please reply it is urgent, thank you

Congratulations to your husband on his recent naturalization.

He is eligible right away to petition for alien relatives using Form I-130.

As the spouse of a US citizen, you can adjust your status to that of a permanent resident immediately on the basis of that relative petition using Form I-485. This assumes you were inspected upon entering the country: presenting some kind of visa (other than a crewman visa), or presenting the passport of a visa waiver program country, or presenting a Canadian passport (visa free).

It is easiest to file both forms concurrently with all their supporting documents in one package.

Hopefully, he brought his naturalization certificate home from the oath ceremony, rather than submitting it with a passport application to the eager State Department delegates.
