Changing job positions

Hi,
I am currently in research and would like to get a new position in a different field (outside of science/ research). My employer has filed an I-485 (March 05). If I get a different job title in a different job field with the same employer or a new employer:

1. How will it affect my application?
2. Should I stay with my current company? Will it be easier to move to a different field within the same company?
3. Will I have to re-file the application for a different job title?

I've done intensive online research and haven't found any useful information.
If anyone has ANY advice from personal experience or otherwise, please share.

You can not change job title even such change will be within same employer. You will need to re-file LC, 140, 485 again if you change your position. Stay in your current position is the best solution for your pending 485, or you could change employer but stay in the same or similar position after 485 has been pending for more than 180 days.
