I am currently on H1B status valid till Oct 2017. I got married to a US citizen about a month ago and wish to apply for AOS based on that. I'm having some trouble understanding the entire process and what exactly I need to file for. I currently reside in US and have plan to travel during March 2016.
1. What are applications do I need to file? Do they need to go in any specific order or groups? or can they all go as a single packet?
2. Will the process affect my work authorization? Will there be a gap where I'm not authorized to work?
3. What is the normal timeline for this process?
