Permanent resident applying green card for F1 spouse

Dear all, I need help on this one, my husband is a greencard holder, I am currently F1 with valid I-20, do I need to maintain my F1 status until the receipt of my I-485, or do I need to maintain F1 status until the approval of I-485? Thank you so much!

You should maintain your F1 status until your husband's I-130 for you has a "current" Priority Date, about two years.
