  • USC college student filling out I-864 for my wife

Hi all! I'm new to the forum so apologies if these Q's are common knowledge around here.

I'm a US Citizen, college student applying for my wife's green card. I work 2 part time jobs so I have some income, but will need to supplement it with my wife's (the intending immigrant) income to cover the 125% threshold. She has an EAD as she's been a DACA recipient for many years, and is making the money legally. I know to consider the intending immigrant's income you also have to show that the employment will continue after she becomes an LPR.

    So, my questions are:

1)what kind of evidence does one typically include to "prove" she will keep this same employment? Or can we just attach a statement saying that it will?

    2) Unrelated to the I-864 but if she has no criminal record do we just need to attach our own statement saying that, or get a copy of a "clean" statement from the local PD, or what?

    Thanks guys!

    1) nada. applies to "intending immigrants" abroad. if she is in the united states it is presumed that her employment/employability will continue

    2) nada. they will run her fingerprints by the FBI to know if you are withholding information
