    Is there anyone here from Dallas who can please share their timeline?

      Guyndallas thank you!
      I filed on May 4 and got my FP on May 29. I didn't get my EAD yet but my case is ready to be schedule for an interview....
      I wonder how long it takes in Dallas to get the interview appointment.. I heard it can take even a year and I wonder if that's true.
      Did you file by yourself or you took a lawyer?
      I didn't take a lawyer, we filed with an agency that filed all the papers for us and that's what they said.
      Keep me updated with your case!
      Good luck! Thank you:-)

        @PearyPear

        Your case is moving faster than usual, stop blaming Dallas Office - I have not seen such fast processing like your case. Your FP was done in (3 weeks) less than a month & already have interview ready for schedule.

          @GC0102 so far it seems like our case is moving pretty fast, indeed. I got my FP done 3.5 weeks after they received it. The question is how long we're going to be waiting for interview, since the agency where we applied told us that the current wait time is about 9-12 months. I'm curious if there's anyone here who applied in Dallas recently and can shed some light.
          Good luck to you and keep me posted!:-)

            We used a lawyer and she said probably 5-6 months for the whole process to be completed. A few friends of ours were married and did the same process last year and it took 5 months exactly. Fingers crossed it is the same for all of us! Let's keep in touch and see how it goes.

                Congrats. We haven't heard anything yet about EAD but we are probably still about 3 weeks away from approval. The wait continues...

                      @Anabanana1 where was your field office? I wish mine is going to go as fast as yours! The last update on USCIS website says that as of May 31st they were interviewing July 30th 2014 cases....so it seems like I'm going to have to wait about 7-8 months until they call me for an interview..!

                        Our priority date is June 4. When your status switched to "Ready to be scheduled for interview", did you get a letter or just online status update?

                            Update- I got my EAD card today in the mail! So it took a little less than 3 months from the day that I submitted, and exactly one week from the day that they approved my i765.
                            Good luck to everyone!:-)
