2 year residency for J1

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am required to submit the proof that I have stayed in my home country for 2 years because I was with J-1 visa. I have my old passport where there are dates of entry and exit. It can show that my stay is longer than 2 years. My question is if my passport is a good-enough proof. Should I obtain extra proof?

Even though that's an excellent source, if you have other proofs send it also; the more the better.

Examples:- Bank Statement with your name to cover the period of time, a few for each quarter. Bills in your name with a beginning date and recent date and Pay Stubs. Good luck!!
