case sent to nvc. can we apply for i485?

Hi please if someone can help I would be very grateful, thanks!

My wife is from Sweden, she came to USA as visitor and we married and live in Wisconsin. I am already US citizen, I was born in NY.
I petitioned i131 and it came back approved but with notice that case is being forwarded to NVC. (Did I make a mistake to do 131 separately from i485?)
Letter from NVC arrived (PAOSF) indicating NVC is in receipt of the case and upon receipt of supporting documentation they will schedule a hearing at consulate or embassy in Sweden.

Please help me here this is where I'm not sure what my next step should be, is there a possibility to apply for i485 now?

Hi, you can send a letter to NVC that saying you want "proceed with Adjustment of Status."
And write the petitioner and beneficiary name, case number.

You should send it no NVC as soon as possible, before NVC start process your case.

Hi Yuzu thanks for the reply. I know it may seem very ridiculous to be continuing this conversation only now about 2 years later. I haven't done anything since then to advance the application and we have just recently received noticed from NVC that they have closed our case. Are we able to continue now where we left off after i130 and send in i485 now?

please if anyone has experience or advice it is greatly appreciated. thanks!
