Birth Certificate needed for a GC interview.
Hello.
Got an interview scheduled in august. On the letter there is a list of documents that needed to be brought in. They need us to bring Birth Certificates petitioner and a spouse for an interview. The thing is that my husband got his citizenship through naturalization, he only has a copy of his Birth Certificate translated and notarized, the same with me-only a copy. There is no way that me or him can get originals from our countries especially within this short time frame.
I am worried if that is ok to go for an interview with copies? All the rest of the documents are perfectly fine.
Please advise, who knows anything.
