Affadavit of Support and GC

Hello,

I am a GC holder and not employed at this momentand my spouse is on H1 visa. His visa will be expired in 1 and a half year.
We don't want any joint sponsor and I would like to know is it possible to apply a GC and adjustment of status at this time?
Any additional forms should we included at the time of application?
