Prodedure for a person to change status of person from Asylum to to Immigrabt status
Hi need your help
My dad was granted removal of deportation NY IJ but Asylum was not approved, and has been working legally with work permit in Dallas.
His daughter is a US Citizen and she needs to file for his green card?
Does he need to reopen the case in NY and Terminate it, and can he do that himself by sending a form?
Or shall his daughter first file his i30 petition and wait for the approval and then submit a request to NY office to reopen or terminate the case and how readustment of status would be filed?
Can someone guide us to the right procedure?
