I moved to a new place within the same zip code in Dec 2003. I sent AR-11 to BCIS immediately after my move. I did not call any 1-800 number to confirm if BCIS received my AR-11 or not. In Jan 2004, I applied for EAD renewal. It was approved and the EAD card was sent to my new address.

Now here is my problem. My I-485 receipt date is March 25, 2002. As per CSC processing dates released last week, CSC is processing I-485 cases as of April 15, 2002. So far I haven’t received any RFE or notice for second fingerprinting (my first fingerprints expired last year). What is the chance that BCIS has not received my AR-11 and they are still trying to communicate with me on my old address? Any suggestions are most welcome.

    485

    Hi

Dont panic. Csc is not processing cases according to what is shown on thier website.

My 485 was filed in sep 2002 and right now csc status shows, its dealing with cases filed in april 2002, where as I have recd an RFE reg my 485 and I just sent them today.

Reg ur change of address, u have to call INS 1-800 umber and ask them to make the necessary change on thier system as well.

Usually the post office forwards the mails from ur old address to the new address atleast for an year or an year an half ( out of my experience), so do not worry and relax.
    All the best
