Hello,
I got a letter for initial evidence. I am required to send the most recent tax return. I didn't send it the first time around because my husband and I filed for extension due to complications with my taxes. I have two questions:
1) Is it ok if I sent a copy of the email that my husband received as a confirmation for tax extension approval? (the intention here is to show why I didn't send our most recent tax returns the first time)
2) To prove current income - I will send a letter from my employer that states my yearly salary. However, my husband doesn't have such letter, so we want to send pay stubs instead, BUT he gets paid weekly, which means that if I have to send all paystubs for the past 6 months, that would be A LOT of paper. Do you think it would be acceptable if I sent his latest pay stub where it shows his year-to-date earnings and highlight that together with his hourly pay rate?
Thank you for your help!
