PLEASE LOOK THROUGH THOSE FORMS AND GIVE ME SOME ADVICE ON THEM. I DO HAVE SOME CONCERNS THAT I NEED A CLEAR ANSWERS, SO PLEASE HELP:
1, When submitting evidence for form I-130, do I have to submit my foreign Birth Certificate? Or I just need to submit a copy of my Citizenship Certificate?
2, MOST IMPORTANTLY, is the evidence for our Bona Fide Marriage good enough? Since we opened cell phone family plan together, we texted and talked to each other alot, should I submit that? We live with my parents so deed, or lease agreement is not available.
3, The filling fee for my wife I-765 is $380, but in the instruction, I noticed that we do not need to pay $380 if we file it with form I-485, is it true? I figured we will have a nice Six Flags trip with that $380.
4, This part confuses me ALOT, Form I-864 and I-864a. So my parents agreed to Joint Sponsor, they Joint-filed their taxes every year for the past 10 years. My question is, how should they fill out the I-864? Do they both file I-864? Or my dad files I-864 and my mom files I-864a?
5, Also I worked for only 2 months last year, so my income was low. Low enough for my parents to claim me as Dependent on their tax return last year (I'm 27 and living with them). So do I have to file I-864a?
6, Should I get a letter of employer since my income will be in the range of 30-40K this year? Do I need any sort of evidence?, since I only get the 1099 by the end of the year
7, Since these are lots of forms in a package, I was thinking dividing them into folders, each folder contains each form with its supporting documents. For example: I already numbered the forms above, each number will be one folder. Should I do that?
8, PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF IAM MISSING SOMETHING. THIS IS MY FIRST TIME DOING THIS, AND IT SEEMS ALOT. THANK YOU SO MUCH GUYS!

    Cover letter

    Hi jaypham0324,

No, you do not the $380.00. When filed together with I-485 and 1-130, the I-765 and I-131 are free.
I think you only needed to do the I-864 once and add both your dependents.
Yes, submit a copy of your foreign birth certificate.
Your bonafides seem okay, if you guys have life insurance, or health insurance you could add each other to those. If you don't, that's fine.
You could add receipts from gifts and dates etc. Also letters confirming your union from your parents, friends, pastor (if u both attend church),
pictures with both of you and friends, post cards to both of you, correspondence to both of you at the same address. Phone call logs. Travel receipts.
If your parents file jointly, I suppose they would just fill out one I-864. If you do not have income to contribute, I would suggest that they only file the paperwork, as you would have very
    little supporting documents to submit.
Yes, you should absolutely get the letter from your employer. If you filed any tax returns these past 3 years, then request the IRS transcripts online and submit them with YOUR I-864.
    Yes, Separate them.

What u can also do, to get better answers to the questions I was not sure of, is consult with a lawyer. Do not commit to them or pay. Consultation is supposed to be free.

      Thank You!

      Hi Fernando,
Thank you so much for taking time writing your reply, I really appreciate it. Your package is very solid. I'm still not sure about the I-864's though. So in their 2014 Federal Tax Return, my parents claimed me as a dependent. So please correct me if I'm wrong: I will fill form I-864, my dad will also file form I-864 as Joint Sponsor, my mom will file I-864a to give my dad permission to user her income on his I-864, I will also fill out form I-864a to give my dad permission to use my income in his I-864. Am I correct on that? Thank you so much.

Also, if you can give me an example of letter of Sworn Affidavit, I would really appreciate it.

        You're Welcome!

I will have to research to answer your question, as I didn't need a joint sponsor, so I never bothered to read up on it. I will see what I can find out for you today. In the mean time,I would recommend that you visit www.uscis.gov , click on forms. For each of the forms (like the ones listed in my cover letter) there is a link for the instructions on how to complete the forms, even instructions on how to fill out checks. There are also instructions on how to construct an affidavit letter.

For the affidavit letter, I know that it should include the person's name, date of birth, address, phone number, and their relationship to you, then they should write that they know that the marriage is real.

Again, I cant stress enough, the uscis website's thoroughness and that you should check it out. As I am just a fellow forum member and not an authority on immigration matters, wherever there is a question you simply do not know how to answer, please consult with a lawyer. I will, however, try my utmost to help you within my own ability, whenever you ask a question. It will be my pleasure to assist, as these forums have helped me to assemble my package.

So, I am off to start my research on I-864 and I-864a, I will respond with my findings as soon as possible.

        Until then,

        CheerfulSharer

The names in the letter are fictional, I changed our names and addresses for privacy. Going by the letter, I would be Keisha Fernando just signs the forms and the checks lol

            Hi

It is no stress at all. If it wasn't for people posting in these forums I wouldn't have been able to do mine. Consulting with a lawyer is the best way to go. Please ensure the person is a qualified and licensed immigration lawyer, if after consultation, you wish to let him/her represent you. Feel free to contact me at anytime, though. Also, be sure to post your success story, so I can congratulate you both

Sending loads of blessings your way.

THANK YOU SO MUCH GUYS!
hi did you finally got answers to your questions from the attorney please post it on the forum so that we can know. thanks
