I-765 accepted, but still no card in the mail?

Hey all,

My application for employment authorization was accepted July 20th and I received my acceptance letter shortly after that. The letter says that the work permit card has been mailed, but now 3 weeks later I still have not received it. Could something be wrong, should I request an inquiry about it? They say on the site to allow for 30 days for something to arrive before requesting an inquiry, but surely if it hasn't arrived by now something would be wrong? I've had problems receiving mail here before and I really need this card right now so I can start working.

You may need to do some investigation, especially in the light that you have had mail problems in the past. Did you get tracking informations?

It usually takes a week after it says that the card has been mailed out. It cannot take more than that. Since they do express delivery on the next day. You should call them and tell them.
