  • Packet review Please help

Please review my packet contents for my wife, I want to make sure I include everything they need the first time so I do not receive any issues: I do have some questions below if you could assist also:

Do I need a passport photo with the I765 and the I131 of my wife? What evidence is needed for these forms? Should I attach these documents separately from my 485? I assume since I am sending the I485 with the I765 and 131 that I dont need to prove that I am sending the 485 to avoid the filing fees?

Thank you for any help provided!

    How I did mine

The cost of forms I-765 and I-131 are $0.00 each, when you file concurrently. so, no, you don't need to prove anything. It was the USCIS' idea I hope you can find the answers in my packet:

Thanks for the response. Im unfortunately still a little confused. In your packet you submitted 4 photos of yourself with your I-130, but I thought the instructions said to use 2 of petitioner and 2 for beneficiary? Same with the I485, you submitted 4 of your wife, but dont you only need to submit 2? I really dont want to submit more photos then necessary considering they arent free. And from the contents of your package, you didnt submit any specific supporting documents for I765 or 131?

I dont see any I-94s in your documents either. Do we have to submit evidence of our relationship with the documents? I see you included bank statements, receipts for expenses, bank cards etc. I thought that was what the interview was for?

Thanks for any help you may provide.

        My packet

I just took the liberty of submitting four photos (YOU ONLY NEED 2 EACH). Yes, I submitted the I-94, it is right there in folder 6. The I-765 and I-131 only need to be filled out and signed, anything you submit with them is just a copy of what's already in the I-485 and your G-325A. All my supporting evidence is in folder 6. There is nothing much for me to prove, as I was a visitor and I am not helping to support myself. He is the PETITIONER and I am the BENEFICIARY. He would be the one that has a lot of documents to submit.

        I hope this helps.

The more evidence you support in the application, is the better it is for you. They actually state that in the instructions for I-130. The I-765 AND I-131 would need supporting documents if I was filing them separately. Read as many testimonials as you can, almost everyone submits documents proving they have a real marriage.

Thanks, I found a way to print some passport photos using an app on my phone and printing at CVS or Walgreens, its the cheapest way to do when needing so many.

I did find on the I-130 instructions to submit some bonafide evidence documents, so I will be getting a statement from my bank for the co-mingling of financial resources between me and my wife. Im hoping I have everything needed for this to be successful!

          Thanks again

            Hi

You're welcome. If you have pictures together and receipts, and bills in both your names, you should definitely do that.

            Good luck!
