Hi All,
I'm trying not to panic.
I sent my paperwork July 21, they received July 22nd. I already received my biometrics appointment for August 19.
Everything was going smoothly until we received an RFe yesterday for form I-846.
My husband makes over the125% of poverty guidelines. He started at this company as a part time job on January this year with a 1099 making $25 an hour. A few months ago he switched to a full time job (still on 1099) making $3000 a month. He had been a fulltime student from 2010 until September 2014. He had not worked to file taxes. We included a letter stating this. He did receive income from his parents last year and from his student loans. The USCIS is requesting all supporting tax documentation (W-2s, 1099, form 2555, and all tax schedules) from the most recent tax year. What should we do? As he did not file taxes this year for 2014. As he was not working. I looked back at the form we filed and we filed the wrong income amount. We actually miscalculated and put a lot more than what he actually makes now. We put him making his $25 per hour as a full time employee and now it is actually the $3000 a month. So intead of the $52,000 a year it is $39,000. It is still over the $19,912 minimum. We sent like 2 paystubs with the paperwork. Should we sent more?
What should we do? Should I resubmit this form with the corrected information as well? What can we do about the taxes?
The RFE stated that the income did not meet the 125%. Although it did so I'm confused. We need to submit evidence of assets. Although I dont think there is any. OR obtain a joint sponsor. Why would we need a joint sponsor if he actually meets the requirements? I'm here with H1b visa and I work. Do I count as a "sponsor" for myself? ShouldI include my income as joint household? I did submit all my tax documents since 2012 as I did work all these years, but I did not include myself in the I-846 form.
Any suggestions anyone? I am really confussed as to what to do. I am still going to the biometrics appointment. Will this be affected? I'm not sure of what other paperwork to send please help!!
Thank you in advance!!
