Travel outside US after filing I-485

Hello all, My employer has filed my I-140 and I-485 concurrently as it is processed through EB-1. I may have to travel to India sometime in October this year. I am currently in US on H1-B and the stamped visa is valid till end of the year.

My question is, when can I travel to India? Note that I haven't got the biometrics yet. Am I good to travel once the biometrics is done?

Please help. Appreciate your assistance.

Thank you. I have applied for the AP too. But my question is can I travel out and reenter after few weeks as soon as the biometrics is done? Without waiting for the approval of AP? My employer says I am good to travel after biometrics as long as I have valid stamped H1B. I am still confused. Any insight into this will be helpful.
