Guys
I have filed my GC in 2006 - EB3 priority date May 2006. I filed I140 and I485 in 2007. I should have gotten my GC couple of years back since I am born in Bhutan so I should come under ROW quota and not India although I have Indian Citizenship. ROW is current for long. But after asking Senator to push and get some feedback, yesterday I got a letter from USCIS asking the following three things:
1. Submit an updated Form G325A, biographic information sheet
2. Submit a new Form I-693, Report of Medical Examination and Vaccination Report
3. A letter from permanent employer that indicates my current position, if any, my proffered position, date of employment and the proffered salary or wage, the minimum educational requirements.
The first two are clear but I have a question related to the third item.
In labor, I had the following:
Job Position: Programmer Analyst
Salary/Wage: $x
Current job,
Job Position: Principal Software Engineer (Lead position)
Salary/Wage: $2x (twice that I was earning in 2006)
Job duties I can ask my HR to copy from my labor but i have some added responsibilities of a lead.
What do you guys think, is this change ok? or, this will raise some kind of flag and I will have problem with my GC? I would appreciate if you can share your experience and suggest me what should I do and if you have a sample letter that I can send to my HR?
Note: I have never files AC21 .
