I 864A with legal and illegal incomes (how do I deal with this?)
Hi,
My wife and I filed forms i130, i485 & i765 3 months ago. She is American and she's my petitioner. We just got a pink letter requesting additional info. Form i864 for her and i864A for me. My wife's income is $11k and mine is $31K, however of this, $15K are obtained through a legal job and the other $16K are not. Adding my wife's income and my legal share we still pass the minumum required, this is my question: my Tax documents show both my salaries, will this affect me anyway? will they just consider my legal income and ignore the illegal one? can this be a really serious thing? I need to make a decision before sending the required information soon. Any help/hint would be much appreciated.
