RFE for I-864 (RE Adjustment of status)

On July 6, 2015, I received a mail from USCIS asking for Initial Evidence regarding i-864 of my sponsors. My case has been suspended on july 16, 2015. On July 17, I sent it using USPS and according to USPS, they delivered it to USCIS Office on July 22, 2015. Until now, I haven't received any Receipt Notice from USCIS. I don't know if my case has been resumed. I called them and the Customer Service Representatives told me that it will take 60 days before they issue new instructions. Is it true? Im freaking out because I'm not sure if they reopen my case or not.
Another thing is my I-765. On May 26, 2015, USCIS received my I-765. Until now, the status of my case is "we received your application." Is it because my i-485 is suspended that's why I still don't have work permit?

Please help me understand this.. Thank you!

Yes, your work Authorization, is also placed on hold, once you received a RFE. Once, they received your rfe, your 90 days window starts over.

thank you. But, is it really normal for me not to received any notice from the USCIS that they resumed my case? Or that they received my RFE?

Normally they respond, saying they have received it and as resumed.... but I don't think in every case they do. Just depends on who is dealing with your case.
If you feel you need to call, in regards to them receiving it, you may. But I think every thing is ok.

me to, i sent my I-864 RFE on august 21 and still no response!! i have been waiting like almost 1 year to get my green card done
