  • I-485 based on approved asylum

Hello, my asylum application was approved May 2014. After a year, I was eligible to apply for a green card and I did in May 2015.

I submitted the application, paid the fee and had my fingerprints taken about 2 months ago. Yesterday(aug 31st) marked 90th day since I submitted my application and yet according to the USCIS online tracker, my status is still "fingerprints fee was received on May 6th 2015".

So, i guess my question (and concern): is this normal? also, I know other I-485 applicants (based on family/employment) are expected to have an interview with an USCIS officer. What about I 485 based on approved asylum? Am I expected to go through another interview as well before getting my green card (I already had an interview when I submitted my asylum application)?

My application is being processed at the Texas center if it matters.

Any comments, help, suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
