Got RFE from CSC

My 485 was filed in sep 2002, I got an RFE today asking to submit my passport copy and also to prove my legal stay in usa for a particular period.

I am sending the same tomoroow, my question is watt wud be the next procedure for the INS? Its a year and half since my first finger print.
