Hello everyone,
I recently applied for an adjustment of status after getting married a few months ago (my package was mailed last month on the 12th), however this afternoon I received a letter from the Department of Homeland Security stating that my Form I-693 was not sufficient "for the following reason(s): Form I-693, Vaccination Record is blank."
I went through a clinic recommended by my immigration lawyer and assumed everything had been taken care of but it sounds like the Doctor must have left out some (if not all) of the information regarding my vaccination record.
The letter I received says I will be required to submit a valid, completed, and signed Form I-693 at a later date (it then goes on to say that I will be required to bring it to my interview appointment once that is scheduled).
My question is, what course of action am I expected to follow? Will the clinic have a copy of the form available and be able to provide a second COMPLETE copy? and is this likely to affect the arrival time of my EAD? (I have already attended my biometrics appointment).
I'll definitely be making some phone calls to the clinic and my lawyer but unfortunately both places are closed as it is the weekend, if anyone has any advice until then I would really appreciate it!
