I140 recently approved under EB1A. I am in the process of getting docs ready for I485. I have a valid H1B and do not plan to use either AP or EAD.
My question is:
I have out-of-country travel plans in the first week of october and last week of november; traveling for a week both times. If I file for I485 before I travel will I have to wait for the receipt notice or can I file and continue with my travel plans? Please keep in mind I have a valid H1B until september 2016 and do not plan to use advanced parole.
If anybody has an experience similar to one or has any idea related to this, I would appreciate if you can share.
