    Hey,
My wife is a US citizen and we live together. I'm filling up the form I-864A because she doesn't meet the income requirement to sponsor me. I legally work and make enough money to combine with her resource to meet the income requirement.
I would like to know if I must fill up the parts that mention " the household member's" which are part 2, part 3, part 4 and part 6
    Thx

If your current status gives you legal authority to work in the U.S., your income can be combined with her income on the I-864 in the "family member" section, and also provide an I-864A form. You must provide proof of your legal authority work (visa type or Work Authorization).

      Thx Ray B.
Also after we got married, my wife decided to change her last name to mine. So on her passport, social security card and Id they put her last name dash my last name.
When filling out forms do we have to put just my last name or her last name dash my last name?
      Thx

Since you decided to use a hyphenated form of last name, and it is now a matter of record on both her passport and SSN record, that is how it should be shown on additional documents you fill out.

On the form I-864 part 6 item 17, there is box to check that says: one or more of the people listed in item numbers 3, 6, 9, and 12 do not need to complete I-864A because she or he is the intending immigrant and has no accompanying dependents. Below this statement there is another box with name on top.
I am the intending immigrant with no accompanying dependents. We are using my income because I legally work and make enough to combine with my wife resource to meet the income requirement.
Do I leave the box in item 17 uncheck and leave the name below it empty?
            Thx

Complete Part 6, #3,4,5 and #16, and also complete form I-864A. Leave Part 17 alone.
Make sure you are using the newer version of I-864 of 7/2/15.

I have a work permit that will expire in February. I got it it by applying for OPT( optional post training).
I am supposed to send my package in November to Uscis.
When filling the form I-765 what do I check:
Permission to accept employment or renewal of my permission to accept employment?
                  Thx

                    You're applying for a renewal.
