H1 to H4 change of status and H1 transfer when it is in progress

Hi,

I worked on H1B for 4 months and then out of project for 3 months and now applied for status change to H4. The application was accepted and got my receipt number. Now I got another offer from a different employer. My H1B is valid till 2017.

My question is:

1. Can I proceed with H1B transfer through the new employer?
2. What will happen to the H1 to H4 change of status application?

Appreciate if someone can clarify my doubt.

@Sushma, Can you please update how it was handled in your case. I am in the same boat. Not sure if a premium processing of new H1 transfer will go through within 15 days?
