Green Card = WHEN?????? How long????? I-551

Waiting over a year now. Did the forms, paid the fees. Had biometrics (photo & fingerprints) in August 2015. How long does it take our screwed up immigration service to process a "LEGAL" immigrant??? Seems like the "illegals" get the priority and all the bennies, to boot. HELP!!!! Please respond. I doubt if I'll figure out this website either. Thanks! Jerry

If you just had your Biometrics last month, what has been happening over the last year that you have been waiting? Normally, when submitting an Adjustment package (I-485 with I-130), the Biometrics appointment is about a month or 6 weeks after paperwork submittal. Why has it taken a year for you to finally get the Biometrics appointment?

In answer to your question...it takes USCIS an average of 6 month to complete Permanent Resident requirement to issue a Green Card.
