  • What to do after I-130?

My I-130 was approved today (yayy!!), and I have a couple questions. When applying to the I-485, what other forms do I have to apply for or should? I do reside in the US, I entered the US legally and my sponsor(mother) is a US citizen and I'm her immediate relative. Do I have to wait for the NVC to send me some kind of notice even though I reside in the US, and if I don't, do I apply for with the USCIS and if so where do I send all the different forms to ?

Thanks in advance for all the help

What is your age, marital status and country of origin? These all have a bearing on whether you are eligible to submit the I-485/

        Kryon,

Include a copy of the I-130 approval Notice of Action, obtain an immigrant medical exam from a USCIS-listed doctor in a sealed envelope with form I-693, submit with I-485, I-864, I-131, I-765, with supporting documents, to:
        USCIS
        PO Box 805887
        Chicago, IL 60680-4120

              Ray,

Today I reviewed the I-797 notice of action saying I'm not eligible for AOS, how can this be, if I'm an immediate relative to a citizen, which is my mother. I've been reading couple threads saying to ignore the NVC and just file the I-485, what should I do? Will the NVC affect me in any way ?
