  • Change of Status (I-485)

    hi there,

Would you please guide me step by step, how to file AOS(I-485) . My I-130 is already approved and DS 260 filed but since i am here in USA wondering if this goes faster.
i am in Houston and checked with few attorneys but they care charging like 1500 dollars to file my case.
your help will be much appreciated.

    Regards

Those attorneys are junks, sorry not all of them.they lie to you so that they suck your money, you can file that form and all the rest by yourself. Read it 3 times and try first,
    don't pay any one,
    I did all by myself,
but if you want to change status do you need to file DS260,just wondering

If you entered the U.S. with a spousal visa (CR-1 or IR-1), and are now in the U.S. and have I-551 stamp in your passport, you only need to pay the $165 fee for your Green card, and don't need to submit an I-48 package.
