  • should i be worry

    Hey guys
this is the first time i post in the forum i was reading the threads and it's really helpful
i have a question and i'll appreciate if you guys help me
i applied for adjustment of status on may 1st and i have done the finger print.
and in Jul 4th the case is ready to be scheduled for an interview

on Jul 31st they sent the Ead card but unfortunately the card was lost in the mail i tried to call Uscis and they said they sent it and it shows delivered but i didn't receive it
and they have nothing to do with it unless i apply for a new one and pay 380 dollars and wait for 3 months, but any way this is not the problem
the problem is it,s Nov 25th and i'm still waiting for the interview.

i live in New Jersey if this will help.

    Thank you.

its pretty normal to still be waiting for an interview. If you look at the current processing times for your location, it will tell you what dates theyre currently processing and if there is a backlog. Alot of people sit on the same status waiting for an interview for several months I have seen. Do not worry, be patient. Its unfortunate about your EAD being lost. I think its horrible that they make everyone pay so much for the loss of an EAD, when they could be practical/understanding and just charge a fraction of that with a previously approved application.
