  • Request for Initial Evidence (I-485) (pls help)

    I got an initial RFE.

The petitioner/sponsor lists their income on Form I-864 as an amount to be considered as sufficient; however, no evidence has been submitted as proof of current income.

Submit evidence of the petitioner/sponsor's current income. Such evidence should include:

Letter of employment containing the following:
    1. Date of employment
    2. Nature of the job
    3. Yearly salary earned
    4. Number of hours per week worked
    5. Prospects for future employment and advancement

Pay stubs or other documentation of pay for the previous 6 months.
    Evidence of other income.

That's what is requested. Unfortunately both petitioner/sponsor's started working in the last 4 and 3 months respectively.

Initial I submitted letter of employment with pay stubs from their current jobs, for both petitioner/sponsor.
The sponsor did UBER in two months while changing jobs, do I need to submit those as well?
Does a letter of employment suffices, or do they need to get another letter from their employer?

    Any help will do. Thanks

Okay, don't they need affidavit of support? What visa type are they on?

Sorry, i am married to u.s citizen but doesn't earn enough to support me so my lawyer got as to find someone to do affidavit of support. Very complicated. I cannot get EAD card until i get affidavit of support and we don't no anyone here. Whoever lawyer asked to sign affidavit is asking for $ 600 than they will support. I am Australian citizen. I came here bcz my husband born here. he didnt like living in Oz. he used to earn 2800 oz dollar every 2 weeks and here not even 600 every 2 weeks. we can barely feed ourselves. Seriously Life sucks here. U.S only good for short holiday. its definitely not a living country.
