Should I use vital record instead of foreign birth certificate for I485?

I am applying for I485 based on adoption by U.S. citizen. Names of my parents in foreign birth certificate are name of my biological parents not my adoptive parents. I have vital record issued by Virginia that have my adoptive parents name on it. Sending my foreign birth certificate wouldn't be good to me because there is no names of my adoptive parents. So should i submit vital record instead of foreign birth certificate? Or should i send both of them?
