Hi, my wife (who is immigrating to the U.S.) and I (U.S. Citizen) recently submitted the I-485 + I-130 concurrently. The packet (containing the forms, payment, and all supporting evidence) was returned to us due to our having put the incorrect address for her. We were invited to resubmit with the correction. I have several questions I'd like to get cleared up before we resubmit so we don't make any more mistakes.
1. Will the USCIS have checked our entire packet for mistakes before sending it back to us, or will they have just stopped at the first mistake (the address)? In other words, can I be confident everything else is correct (as I believe it is) or should I double-check everything?
2. Can I reuse the returned packet, or do I need to print and fill out an entirely new one? If I can reuse the packet, can I just change the relevant pages on the forms (I-485, I-130, I-864, G-325A) and reuse everything else?
3. Can I add anything to the packet or must it remain exactly the same? We obtained some additional translated evidence of our marriage and I'd like to add it to the packet if I can.
Thanks so much for your help!
