  • AOS Process questions

    Hi all forum members,

I have some questions regarding the AOS process, and I'll appreciate your help.

To date, I've received the following

    - 12/02/2015: Receipts (Notice of action) for I-484, I-130, I-765 (AED)
    - The date on the USCIS web site for the 3 forms is 11/30/2015

I've been checking every day since I received the receipts, but nothing changed.

    My questions are:

    1) How much time does it take usually from the day you receive the receipts to the Biometrics Appointment schedule,
    2) Is the case status regularly updated on the USCIS website,
    3) Usually how much does it take to receive the AED from the date of the submission of the case to USCIS

    Thank you in advance

            AOS Process questions: Biometrics

            Hi Guys,

I just came back from the biometrics today. It was pretty fast. My appointment was scheduled at 3:00 PM, but I showed up at 12:30. The lady at the desk told me that it's Ok as long as it's the same date.

I waited like 10 or 15 min and the lady called my number. So she took my fingerprints and it was OK. After that she retook finger by finger to match them with the first scan. It was Ok except for the Ring and Pinky fingers on the Right hand and the left hand pinky finger. She tried many times but the scan wont match. I found this strange, but I'm worried that the FP will not be accepted by the FBI.

Did you guys experienced something similar?

If OK, when do you think the status will change to have the EAD?

PS: Feexo, good luck on your biometrics budy

                Biometrics

Just your appointment letter for the biometrics and a form of ID (your passport)
