Clarification of Biometric Information

I have an appt for Biometric Information to be collected. I assume that is Fingerprinting?

My Status is Asylee. Granted 12/31/2003
Applied for adjustment of status to resident : 01/15/2004
Case is being adjudicated in Texas

Biometric information appointment set for Feb 17/2006

What should i anticipate as the next step? and how long do u think it will be after biometric info is collected?

I was surprised to hear back from them this soon as they had projected 800-900

Any reason why my case is all of a sudden being processed? I was under the impression it takes years before any correspondence
