Hi fellows, I am facing a problem of when to file my I-485, here is my background:
1. EB3 PERM is just approved, so it will expire in May 2016
2. My priority date is current, so I am eligible for filing I-140 and I-485 concurrently
3. My wife is oversea now and can't come to the US until later next year
Now my question is:
1. Does my wife has to be physically present in the US to file I-485 as a dependent?
2. If yes to #1, is it possible to first file I-140 only, and hold off I-485 until my wife can come over?
