I want to share my timeline and my experience. I'm happily married to an amazing guy who happend to be a US Citizen. We're gay couple living in LA (if that matters). We actually hired a lawyer who dont do sh*t!

Day 1 Oct. 26: USCIS recieved forms I485, 130 and 765 (Priority date) at Lee Summit MO
Day 5 Oct. 30: USCIS accepted finger print fee
Day 13 Nov. 7: Recieved I797 Notice for finger print schedule
Day 25 Nov. 25: USCIS mailed an initial RFE (Lawyer sent outdated I765 form)
Day 33 Nov 27: Finger print taken
Day 66 Dec. 29: USCIS recieved response to 1st inital RFE (Lawyer took a month to resend updated form, SERIOUSLY!?)
Day 79 Jan 11: USCIS mailed second initial RFE (requested for husbands pay stubs or letter of employment. They also asked additional assets or an option to have a joint sponsor which is actually confusing at first since his income is above 125%)
Day 93 Jan. 25: USCIS recieved response to second initial RFE
Day 95 Jan 27: Found this website and learned i haved to file "Service Request" if my I765 passes 75th day, (No thanks to my lawyer) So i filed for SR immediately.
Day 96 Jan 28: Status changed to "Production of card.." later that day it changed to "EAD approved"
Dat 99 Feb 1: USCIS mailed my EAD card
Day 100 Feb 2: Called customer service to ask for Tracking Number on my EAD Card (They are very helpful). Status on I485 changed to "Schedule for interview"
Day 101 Feb 3: Check USPS and indicated the expected time of delivery of my EAD card will be on Feb 4th.

          My advice:
          1. Lawyers are just a waste of money if your case is not complicated.
          2. Avoid RFE and send it right away if you recieve one
          3. download USCIS app on your phone just to keep track and have a peace of mind.
          4. Research, Research, Research and dont afraid to ask even if you think it sound stupid, people on this website are very helpful.

          Good luck to everyone.
