Hi - allow me to offer a little background. I submitted i-130 and i-485 for both my parents in October. I received rfe in november stating that page 3 part 4 of i-864 was blank - so i resent the packet (i-864) again. But today got another RFE stating that i did not meet the poverty guidelines for income so would need a joint sponsor for my parents. So here are my questions.
1. can i use the same (joint) co- sponsor for both parents?
2. if so does that joint-sponsor need to fill out two 1-864 forms, one for each parent?
3. how does that joint sponsor identify themselves on Part 1 of the form for each parent's form if filled out separately: would she pick 1d (i am the only joint sponsor) or 1e (i am the first joint sponsor)
4. Part 3. how would the joint sponsor answer question 1 (yes) or (no)?
5. Part 4 - i am assuming this would be the joint sponsors name as filled out in Part 1?
6. Part 5, joint sponsor is single and has no dependents - would this total be 2 for household size? (meaning joint sponsor and one of my parent for each form)????
can someone please help me with these questions. I want to make sure i send in the correct information to avoid any more delays.
