Birth Certificate Help!
Applying for AOS by marriage, my husband lost his birth certificate a while back. We are trying to order a new one online, but unfortunately we cannot. A mail-in request takes almost 3 months and we already have everything else ready to send to USCIS. We could go request it in person, but that is a 3 hour drive away from us and we both work M-F so it would be extremely inconvenient for us. I can try the local Bureau of Vital Statistics here, but they can only give out a certified abstract record of it since he was born outside the county limits. Is the abstract record sufficient when we go in or is a long-form record required as our original for our AOS interview?
