Got RFE ...

Hi all.
I got the RFE notice from USCIS(VSC) on March 25th, 2004.
I'm also scheduled for another finger printing on April, 22nd.
The first FP expired 2 months ago.
Just wondering how long would it take to approved from here and on.
Any thoughts appreciated.

FYI, following is the info regarding my I-485 process.

Notice Date:&nbsp &nbsp &nbsp &nbsp 08/28/2002
1st FP:&nbsp &nbsp &nbsp &nbsp &nbsp &nbsp &nbsp &nbsp 10/23/2002
2nd FP:&nbsp &nbsp &nbsp &nbsp &nbsp &nbsp &nbsp &nbsp 04/22/2004 (scheduled)
RFE Notice:&nbsp &nbsp &nbsp &nbsp 03/25/2004

It takes about 3 months

After you submit an RFE. Did you get the RFE or was it sent to your lawyer? When they sent the RFE did they update the message on the bcis webpage for your eac?

The RFE was sent only to my lawyer.
USCIS did change my case status upon the RFE issuance on their site promptly. That's how I found out even before it actually got into my lawyer's hand.

2nd Finger Print done

Just the follow up on my case.

My 2nd Finger Printing was done on April 22nd.

Just checked the USCIS Case web site, and it says USCIS received the result of my FP on April 26th.

Weird ...

I've been checking the USCIS' case status site almost everyday since last couple of weeks. I noticed a weird thing going on.
It initially said my finger print result was received on April, 26th. But the date has been changing day by day. Now it is saying that the result was received May 3rd!
Has anyone observed the similar issue?

Fianlly got the approval !!!

Just the follow up on my case above.

I received the approval notice upon my I-485 from USCIS yesterday. The notice date was May, 5th 2004.
It says I just need to report to local USCIS office with my passport and 2 ADIT style pictures. What a journey !


FYI, here's the brief history of my I-485 process again.

Reciept Date: 08/22/2002
Notice Date: 08/28/2002
1st FP: 10/23/2002
RFE Notice: 03/25/2004
RFE Filed: 03/28/2004
2nd FP: 04/22/2004
Appr Notice: 05/05/2004

My employment verification letter from my employer
recent 3 months of pay stubs.
