Hello,
My spouse is a US citizen and I am doing the adjustment of status to become a permanent resident.
1/ My I485 and I130 receipt numbers start with MSC which I assume means Missouri Service Center. However, I can't seem to find the processing dates online for I485/I130 for the Missouri Service Center. My adjustment of status was filed in Orlando, FL. Does this mean that I have to refer to the processing time for the Orlando local office?
2/ My adjustment of status dates back to March 2004. I have the opportunity to relocate to North Carolina for a job transfer. I am debating if I should stay in Florida until I receive the green card or if I should move and change address. On the one hand, I hear the processing times are much quicker in NC but I don't want my application to be delayed because of the file transfer to another service center... What do you recommend?
