I-693 Medical Exam during Pregnancy

I'm pregnant and need to have the I-693 medical exam done, however, I do not wish to take the flu shot vaccine in my current condition, what excuses/reasons can I give to the civil surgeon/physician so I can avoid taking the flu shot without risking being denied my I-485? I'm living in the U.S. and we are in flu season now. Thank you!

I have the same problem. I called a designated civil surgeon today and was told that if I'm pregnant I may waive the flu shot requirement.
