Birth Certificate Info
Hi,
I have below questions. Please answers.
1) In my Tenth Class and 12th Class, my surname has initial (just one letter) so I got my birth certificate with Surname as initial followed by my first name from INDIA and they did not put any surname for my parents. Only parents names are mentioned without any surname. But my passport and all other documents like graduate degree,PG etc are having full surnames with all the letters. So is my birth certificate with initial for surname for me and no parent surnames is OK for filing I-485?
2) I am planning to take the birth certificate for my wife. My wife's surname is my surname in her passport but she has her own surname in all her certificates like 10th and PG etc. So what surname should I write while applying the birth certificate for my wife? Will it be my surname or her surname for her birth certificate application?
FYI, we have marriage certificate in which my wife's surname is her own surname.
