Froms Status of Adjustment to Citizenship?
Good Day everyone!
An immigration Judge granted me Adjustment of Status on 03/25/2013 and ever since I have been waiting for my Permanent Residency Card. Fast forward 3 years later, now 2016; I have not received the card! I made an appointment with immigration to get my new passport stamped and was told that apparently there seems to be a problem/glitch with production of my green card and they approved for me to re-do the fingerprints again at the immigration office again!
The officer who assisted me told me that since I have been married to my husband (a US Citizens) since I got the Adjustment of Status approved that I will be eligible to become a US Citizens this upcoming March 2016! Does anyone know how accurate this information is?
Also...since I havent received the actual green card, although I was granted the status. Will it be an issue once I apply for Citizenship in 2 months?
