My husband and I filed his I-485 case to the Boston office, so I'm not 100% if this will help. Nonetheless, here's our timeline:

    08/10/15: Sent paperwork to USCIS
8/29/15: Received RFE (for more tax information and original birth certificate)
9/09/15: Biometrics scheduled at Boston office
    10/15/15: I-131 and I-765 approved
    10/20/15: Received I-131 and I-765 combination card
11/05/15: Went on trip to Turkey to visit family, no issues with I-131
02/01/16: Interview scheduled for March 8, 2016 at Boston office

As you can see, it took nearly 6 months for us to receive an interview date, and will be 7 by the time my husband's case is (hopefully) approved. I know the Boston office has quite a backlog of cases right now.

    Good luck!

Hi! I am waiting for my EAD card desperately because I have a job offer and also to get my interview scheduled. We filed on 08/22/16 and my I-765 case status says "Card is being produced" since Nov 9

Hey Carolina, I think you should call USCIS customer service and tell them whats going on, sometimes it helps because they put a note on the system, I called them when my interview was pending for over a month and the day I called to check they said there was no date yet so after a day I checked online and there it was my interview scheduled date just after a day I called them, so I think it could help, and Good luck!

          Hi Indy,

Thank you for the advice. I did call them and I was told that because my card was already being produced, that I couldn't request to expedite it. I did explained that I had a job offer etc.. so maybe it did help because I got my card a few days later! it was very quick!
