Form I-864 question

Couple of question... I received a letter from INS with the following request for initial evidence (I-485)

- Form- I-864, affidavit of support, was submitted; however, it was not from the petitioner/sponsor.

Submit a completed and signed form i-864 for the petitioner/sponsor listed on form I-130.

*I do not make enough money to petition my wife by myself which I have an sponsor. Is this form asking for a completed form I-864 from my self the petitioner, the sponsor or both? even though I dont make enough.

The petitioner must submit an I-864, even without sufficient income to sponsor, but can be accompanied by an I-864 sposorship package from a co-sponsor.

Hi Ray! thanks for replying I did send INS our sponsor I-864 but not mine because I don't make enough... Now should I resent my sponsor's I-864 accompanied with mine or should I send just mine?

Question I'm trying to fill an I-864 for my wife but the last three years my mom included me on her taxes. In the question 18.a and 18.b is asking me federal income tax return information.. what should I put since I did not fill taxes by myself?

Send them both together so your package is complete.

Include a signed and dated statement explaining why you did not file an income tax return.
