Hi,
I would like to share our visa experience (F2A) with all, as others experience boost my confidence before interview
- entered chicago office around 8.30, my interview was schedule for 9.30, but wanted have it early...(no lawyer/translator)
- interview started at 9.40...
- nice guy, was very professional...and quite..asking questions very straight forward...more like routine conversation....he was more like double checking information i filled in forms
- questions:
1.routine criminal background yes/no questions....
2.current address
3.how did you meet.....me and wife started together....so i asked...she or me....he said..doesnt matter , I answered...
4.how you came to us -> f1 then h1b
5.still working with xyz corp. -> yes
6.how many time you entered usa -> n times.
7.when did you first entered usa? - >
8.to my wife...what do you do..-> study...blah blah college
9.any children- no
10.when did you last entered usa---=> answered and passed my i90
11.asked for i20...//f1 document..luckily i had one, i did not submit that with my application
Thats it.....thank you for coming...and i am going to approve you application today.
he did not take my ead card back, didnt ask for album or anything..only document asked for was i20(i90, i gave, he didnt asked for it), he was taking noted through out interview....wrote all my entry dated to usa....and next day i got email that they have approved my application. Waiting for card now.
