RFE on I-864 help!

Hello everyone!


I filed for AOS (married based) November of last year. On February of this year I received a RFE on my I-864 form. It says:



You have submitted a Form I-864, Affidavit of Support, for the petitioner/sponsor. The version submitted is no longer valid.

In order to process your application further, submit a properly completed and signed Form I-864, Affidavit of Support (revision date 07/02/2015), from the petitioner/sponsor. All pages of Form I-864 must be present and with the same revision date.


I have a couple of questions and will appreciate your help



1. Do I have to submit as well all of the initial evidence? (tax transcripts, bank statements, in my case bonds and stocks statements). We are using assets because my husband salary was not enough. Do I have to send evidence (Bank and stock statements) from last year in November when I first filed, or from February (current)?

2. Since I filled for AOS I received a new A number from them. Should I put it in the form? (in the initial form this part was N/A)

Yes, you have send all the evidence over, just like you did the first form you send.

Note that the latest I-864 form on the USCIS website has the following references
OMB No. 1615-0075 Expires 07/31/2017.

That is one of the reasons they suggest you take a full copy of your package as you might be required to resubmit evidence. It might not be the same person who reviewed your original file so they need the evidence to hand.
